We are proud to announce the chartering of the EWU Student Society of Human Resources Management Chapter!

The Chapter, officially chartered on March 11, held a ceremony on June 1. The local Inland Northwest Society of Human Resources (INSHRM) sponsored EWU’s first 8 charter members in order to qualify for chartering.

It has been a busy time, but I have enjoyed helping this group get started because we have wonderful, hardworking students. . . This new professional society on the EWU campus offers many opportunities for experiential learning and connects our students with our business community.

The ceremony, sponsored by INSHRM, was attended by EWU members and officers, as well as INSHRM members of local companies, such as Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, Stamper Reubens Law, Alarm.com, Itron, Washington Trust Bank, Spokane Teachers Credit Union and Canopy Credit Union. The Chartering Certificate was provided by the Washington State SHRM.

Celebration and Chartering Ceremony took place on June 1, 2022, at the Spokane Club, thanks to local INSHRM.
