Certificate in Social Emotional Learning for Educational Equity

About

In the Social Emotional Learning for Educational Equity (SEL-EE) Certificate, you’ll complete year-long workshops in SEL while taking foundation courses that focus on educational inequity, the science of stress and coping and the beginning concepts of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS). This certificate is designed for undergraduates who wish to support children and youth in various career fields such as:

  • Teacher education
  • School psychology
  • School and mental health counseling
  • Health occupations
    • Physical therapy
    • Occupational therapy
    • Speech and language therapy

The courses will be offered with the option of in-person or online, with workshops on five weekends across the year. You may complete the foundation courses prior to or while completing the workshops.
