School of Social Work Scholarships<\/h2>\n

School of Social Work students are awarded approximately $32,030<\/span>\u00a0in scholarships each year<\/strong>\u2014just one part of the\u00a0$9.7 million EWU awards annually<\/strong>\u00a0to nearly 1,500 students through a single scholarship application<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Scholarships aren\u2019t just for top GPAs or athletes\u2014they\u2019re based on your major, background, community service, and more. And the best part? Scholarships are free money you don\u2019t have to pay back.<\/strong><\/p>\n

External Scholarships for MSW Students<\/h2>\n

Conditional Scholarship Opportunities in Washington State<\/p>\n

Committed to serving individuals and families receiving Medicaid and seeking services from community or tribal behavioral health centers during your MSW and post-graduation?<\/p>\n

Social workers are needed to serve in designated behavioral health agencies that meet the needs of vulnerable and underserved community members. If this is your passion, you may be eligible for a conditional scholarship to aid in funding your MSW program.<\/p>\n

The EWU School of Social Work is a partner institution with the\u00a0<\/span>Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC) to distribute Behavioral Health Conditional Scholarships (BHCS) for MSW students. For more information and to apply for the WSAC scholarship, visit wsac.wa.gov\/bhcs<\/a>. Apply for the Ballmer Behavioral Health Scholarship\u2014open to new MSW students committed to serving in approved behavioral health agencies. An Application and info session is required. The BBHS is part of the Washington State Behavioral Health Workforce Development Initiative.<\/div>\n
