Minor in 3D Animation

In the 3D Animation minor, you’ll get an introduction to programming and digital design. You’ll also take a series of courses in which you’ll develop your modeling and animation skills. You’ll learn about texturing, lighting, surface modeling, character development, camera techniques, organic modeling, 3D scripting and more.

Curriculum & Requirements

3D Animation Minor

The minor provides the skills necessary to meet an increasing demand for 3D modeling and animation developers. Included is the study of 3D modeling, 3D animation, character animation, animation scripting and advanced animation tools.

Grade Requirements: As a computer science student, you are expected to maintain an overall university GPA ≥2.3. Each computer science course must be completed with a minimum grade ≥C+. All supporting courses required by the department must be completed with a minimum grade ≥C.
