Unfortunately, our program is unable to waive the application fee. GRE scores are not required at this time. These GSA awards will be awarded competitively based on academic potential and financial need. GSA awards are available for both resident and non-resident students. Decisions regarding GSA awards will be made during the January-April timeframe. Applicants are encouraged to have their application material submitted no later than December 31 in order to guarantee priority consideration. First- year graduate assistants typically aid a professor in the classroom with teaching-related tasks. Second-year graduate assistants may be assigned to teach courses as instructor-on-record depending on department needs. The program&#8217;s primary focus is on placing graduates into high paying jobs in the private sector, although the degree is also suitable for graduates seeking employment as community college math instructors or those pursuing doctoral studies in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research or related fields.<\/p>\n<p>The program is open to any graduate with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research or related field.
