What to Do:

  1. Go to the English placement survey.
  2. Complete the survey and submit.
  3. Receive your best recommended English Composition course.

  • Your Running Start advisor will use this information to determine eligibility for English Composition courses.

  • You are interested in a degree/career that includes math, for example: STEM, education, business, social sciences, or some liberal arts degrees.

What you Need:

  • Your NetID and password you created in Step 1.
  • Your EWU ID, which is on your acceptance letter.
  • Access to a current high school transcript (recommended, but not required).

What to Do:

  1. Go to the math placement survey.
  2. Choose “I’m Ready to Begin!”
  3. Complete the survey and submit.

What to Know:

  • This is not an exam! Like the English survey, this survey will ask about your past high school math experience.
  • Be honest on this survey. You will be more successful if you are.
  • You will be sent a placement score to your EWU email. Make sure you check your spam folder.
