1. Check-in & Key Pickup<\/h2>\n
If you have not signed up for a move-in date and time, check your EWU email for info and sign up. If you don\u2019t choose a time slot, one will be assigned to you.<\/p>\n
When:<\/strong> Thurs., Sept. 18th and Fri. Sept. 19th<\/p>\n
Time:<\/strong> Arrive during the half-hour you have chosen for your time slot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

- If you are early, you will be asked to wait in the parking lot before receiving your keys.<\/li>\n
- If you are running late, don’t worry, we will work you in when we have space available in our unloading zones.<\/li>\n
- If you have not signed up for a move-in date and time, check your EWU Email for info and sign up for the best date and time for you to move in!<\/li>\n
- If you arrive after Friday, Sept. 19th at 5:00 pm, you will go directly to your Residence Hall to pick up your key packet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Where:<\/strong> Start in the tailgating lots behind the football field (see map). Please follow our maps and not your GPS.<\/strong><\/p>\n

- Eagle Card (if you have submitted the form and had it pre-printed)<\/li>\n

- Staff will confirm if the unloading area at your hall is available<\/strong> and keep you updated on the approximate wait time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

2. Unloading<\/h2>\n
Once you have been sent and parked in your hall\u2019s designated unloading area the following steps will happen:<\/p>\n

- Confirm where to put your belongings<\/strong> in the staging area with the unloading area volunteer.<\/li>\n
- Completely unload your belongings<\/strong> in your staging area.<\/li>\n
- Move your car<\/strong>, volunteers will be able to watch your things in addition to members of your moving party. Residential Hall (RH) parking permits are available for purchase<\/a>. If you do not have a permit, street parking is available. Free move-in day parking is highlighted on the move-in map.<\/li>\n
- Begin taking things up to your room<\/strong>, after, or while, your car is parked. 3. Room Inventory & Unpack<\/h2>\n
You will have the opportunity to mark any damages to the room using the room inventory sheet in your move-in packet. Turn this in to the Residence Hall office. If you have any issues with your room there is information on how to submit a maintenance request.<\/p>\n
Now it’s time to unpack, relax and get to know your hall. 4. Sign Up for Welcome Week<\/h2>\n
Kicked off by move-in day, Welcome Week is a series of events and activities designed just for you\u2014our newest Eagle! This is a great opportunity to get to know other students and learn more about campus.<\/p>\n
