2022 ASEWU Student Leaders
The Associated Students of Eastern Washington University (ASEWU) is committed to serving the students of Eastern Washington University through acting as a resource for student activism, provide students with leadership opportunities, promoting diversity and inclusion, and being an informed, unified student voice.
A Higher Stage
Eastern’s greatest-ever quarterback is ready to quiet the next-level doubters.
EWU’s Prairie Restoration Project will restore a 120-acre parcel of university-owned land to its native habitat, thus creating a “living laboratory” of restored Palouse prairie proximate to the Cheney campus. Together with the Spokane and other local tribes — Native peoples who for millennia called these bounteous hills home — we will connect with the land and learn from it.
Happy Giving Joy Day!
The support EWU receives today will transform lives. Many students are here only because of fellow Eagles like you. Find out how you can be a part of it all…
Solidarity with Ukraine
Students and community members looking for a place on campus to reflect on the crisis in Ukraine are invited to Showalter Auditorium where a daily quiet space has been created for contemplation and prayers.
Giving Joy Day
Giving Joy Day is just one month away! On Monday, April 4, help us celebrate 140 years of providing affordable and exceptional education to Eagles like Chels Howard. “Being awarded the Felix E. Mutschler Memorial Scholarship was the positive feedback that kept me motivated.” Chels dreams of being a geology professor one day, just like their scholarship’s namesake.
Welcome, Dr. Shari McMahan!
The EWU Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Shari McMahan, PhD, has been selected to serve as the 27th president of Eastern Washington University.
