Exploring Your Strengths

This 3-hour workshop will guide you through exploring and understanding your strengths as determined by the CliftonStrengths assessment.  We will focus on understanding how you can use your core strengths – the talents you already possess – to make progress in work and leadership.  Through reflection, small group discussion, and insightful teaching, you will leave with a deeper understanding of the talents you already have and how you can use those to find success.

“I think CliftonStrengths is a super valuable tool, as it helps one become aware of where there natural strengths lie, and from there, one can start to explore how to utilize their strengths to achieve desired goals.”

Speaker Series: The Intersection of First-Generation Students, Career Readiness, and Leadership Development

The EWU Career Center was thrilled to host Dr. Tierny Bates and Dr. Joshua Fredenburg—a dynamic team of thought leaders—who provided faculty, staff, students, and the broader community with insights into career and leadership skills tailored to the unique experiences of first-generation students.

The event included a keynote presentation from these distinguished speakers, and two breakout sessions tailored to specific audiences—one for faculty and staff, and another for students. This was an excellent opportunity to gain practical knowledge and strategies that can benefit both personal and professional development. Participants could earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) upon purchase through EWU Professional and Continuing Education.
