IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Refunds are administered based on the date EWU Professional & Continuing Education received your emailed request to drop/withdraw from a course you enrolled in. Students must email pce@ewu.edu and specifically request to be dropped from the course(s) in order for the course enrollment drop to happen.
For-Credit: The refund policy for credit bearing courses and programs aligns with EWU’s refund policy. Please see the academic calendar for important refund dates.
Non-Credit:
- Course Cancelation by EWU: 100% refund is offered if EWU cancels a course for any reason.
- Course drop/withdrawal requested by registrant: 95% refund is offered if registrant notifies EWU by email at pce@ewu.edu a minimum of 3 business days prior to the start of the course.
- No refund: 0% refund is offered if a registrant requests to be dropped/withdrawn less than 3 business days prior to the start of the course. 0% refund is offered for registrants that do not attend or stop attending the course.
- Please note, business days are Monday through Friday and do not include federal holidays.
Third-Party Vendor: No refund: 0% refund will be offered for online professional development and personal enrichment courses (e.g., VESi, Excel Education, ed2go, etc.).
Contract Services: Refunds for contract service enrollments will be defined in each contract.
