PCE Summer Clinics & Workshops

EWU Professional & Continuing Education offers non-credit summer clinics designed to enhance workforce development.

Youth Camp: 2-Day Forensics I In-Person | Cheney Campus

Youth Forensics Camp, developed in partnership with the EWU Criminal Justice Department, provided students entering grades 7–12 with a hands-on introduction to crime scene investigation and forensic science. Participants explored fingerprinting, crime scene documentation, and evidence analysis through interactive labs and real-world activities led by EWU faculty on the EWU Cheney Campus.

Music Educator Kodály Level I In-Person | Cheney Campus

Kodály Level 1 Certification, developed and taught by the EWU Department of Music, provided music educators with an intensive two-week professional development experience based on the Kodály Concept. Participants completed 77 clock hours of training in Pedagogy, Musicianship, Conducting, Music Literature, Choral Ensemble, and Special Topics, while engaging in teaching demonstrations and observing pedagogy in action.

NEW! A newly developed cryptocurrency course, offered through EWU Professional and Continuing Education, will provide a beginner-friendly introduction to cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital assets. Participants will explore topics such as digital wallets, self-custody, research skills, and real-world blockchain applications while building practical knowledge through interactive learning activities. Upon successful completion, learners will earn an EWU Digital Badge in Blockchain Literacy.

MultiCare Leadership Development Series 

This fall, MultiCare is continuing their partnership with EWU Professional & Continuing Education to deliver this four-week leadership development program designed for emerging and current leaders. Participants explored CliftonStrengths, transformational leadership practices, and crucial conversation skills while engaging directly with senior executives. Through interactive sessions and guided discussions, attendees gained tools to build trust, lead across differences, and successfully manage teams.
