Join the Board
Thank you for your interest in joining and serving on the Board of Directors for the EWU Alumni Association (EWUAA).
The EWUAA provides guidance, counsel, and vision to the staff and volunteers who serve EWU alumni and student communities. The Alumni Association is a 501(c)(3) organization looking for working board members who represent a diverse cross-section of our alumni base, collectively support opportunities to celebrate the Eastern experience, and help improve it in the future. To ensure this, applicants are selected based on the current needs of our returning board members to create a variety of opinions, experiences, and demographics. Applicants are reviewed based on the following:
- Experience in leading and supporting organizations and teams.
- Past involvement and volunteerism.
- Vision and passion for engaging alumni at various points in their professional and personal life.
A member of the Board of Directors is appointed to a three-year term position based on demonstrated involvement, support, and commitment to EWU and the EWUAA. In accepting, an individual agrees to fulfill all responsibilities associated with board membership. Employees of EWU are ineligible. Applications open February 1.
