Access & Affordability
Help us keep EWU accessible to all students by supporting scholarships for today’s Eagles and future generations. Applied Learning
As the region’s only polytechnic public university, and the only public university in the state requiring an applied learning experience for graduation, Eastern Washington University prepares every student for workplace success. Through applied learning, innovation, hard work and community partnerships, EWU develops skilled talent, strengthens local economies, and creates opportunities that benefit our region for decades to come.
Build Healthy Communities
EWU is a leader in educating healthcare professionals who make a difference. As our region, state and country struggled with a shortage of nurses, EWU added Nursing to its slate of respected allied health programs. In Spring 2025, the first cohort of nurses will graduate – ready to tackle diverse healthcare needs in urban and rural communities.

EWU Athletics is often called the “front porch” of our university, engaging students, alumni, donors, and friends through intercollegiate competition, and keeping our Eagle community connected.
