The Visitor Center is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, offering on-campus tours Monday through Friday and housing tours on select days. We also offer virtual tours and resources so you can experience EWU from the comfort of your home.

Guided Campus Tours

Explore EWU with one of our student guides. You will get:

  • A walking tour of campus, academic buildings, student gathering places, and more
  • Student services and resources information
  • Residence hall information (or housing tour on select dates)
  • Time to ask questions about admissions, financial aid, housing, and student life

Please note:

  • Registration is required for each student. Use the calendar to get started!
  • Tours last 60 to 75 minutes.
  • Tour sizes are limited. Each student is allowed to bring up to 4 guests.
  • Parking is free and located right next to the Visitor Center.

Lasting 60 to 75 minutes, the campus tour is the best way for students to explore the EWU Cheney campus. You’ll join a student tour guide and a small group of future students on an outside walking tour of campus. You’ll visit classrooms, student spaces, campus landmarks, and the places where Eagles study, collaborate, and spend their time outside class.

  • Morning Campus Tour: 11 a.m.
  • Afternoon Campus Tour: 2 p.m.

Find your home with EWU Housing & Residential Life. You’ll join a student tour guide and a group of future students on a 60-minute walking tour. View community spaces, student rooms in Pearce Hall and Streeter Hall, and the common areas of Snyamncut.

  • Housing tours are offered on select days at 12:30 p.m.
  • Housing Tours will not be offered from June 17 to July 7, on New Student Orientation days, or from September 1 to 30.

Fall Preview Day

Spend a day experiencing everything EWU has to offer. Meet faculty, explore majors, connect with current students, and learn about admissions, scholarships, and student life. The event takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration opens on September 1.

In-Person Group Visits

Whether you’re bringing a high school class, community organization, or pre-college program, group visits provide a fun, engaging introduction to campus, admissions, and student life.

Group sizes begin at 5 people and are limited to 55 total participants for in-person visits.
