Agenda and Overview
Check-in for the event will open at 8:30 a.m. in Showalter Hall. Students and guests will go to the 1st floor to pick up name-tags, swag and additional event details. An optional campus tour will occur from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m.
This is the official event kick-off! Our Admissions team will welcome you to campus and make sure you have everything you’ll need to enjoy the day’s activities—including how to win a $1,000, $1,500 or $2,000 EWU scholarship!
Following the opening session, you’ll discover the ins and outs of paying for college and your financial aid next steps. (Fun fact: EWU has had the lowest tuition and fees in Washington since 2012!)
Based on your major interests, you’ll be able to engage with faculty to learn more about being a student at EWU. You’ll get the opportunity to connect with all 4 colleges!
Connect with current EWU students during lunch and visit with many of our campus resources.
We’ll wrap up the day and give away the $1,000, $1,500 and $2,000 scholarships in a random drawing. If you feel good about your experience and decide EWU is the right fit for you, staff will be available to help you go through your next steps.
After closing session, students and guests are invited to participate in the Housing Open House to learn more about your living options at EWU. We’ll also have some academic departments hosting open houses across campus. There will be tour guides available if you’d like to see more of campus while you’re visiting.
