Building Community Through
Athletic Excellence

You are the Future of EWU Athletics

Eastern Washington University is committed to providing its student-athletes with the resources they need to succeed.

Your support for scholarships, facility upgrades and wellness programs ensures that Eagle athletes can compete at the highest levels while making the grade.

EWU’s student-athletes continue to earn academic honors in the Big Sky Conference and within national collegiate circles. As they were charting individual and team wins, our talented athletes proved their mettle in the classroom and are closing in on nearly 60 consecutive quarters of earning above a 3.0 GPA collectively.

If you would like to make a lasting impact for these hardworking students, consider supporting the Eagle Athletic Fund or the Stadium Renovation Fund.

Support the Eagle Athletic Fund (EAF)

Your contributions to the Eagle Athletic Fund support scholarships, updates to facilities, nutritional programs and wellness education so EWU can recruit talented athletes and provide them with the support they need to compete at the highest level and walk away with a college degree.

By supporting the EAF, you’re investing in more than just sports — you’re helping student-athletes grow into leaders. Together, we can ensure that the more than 350 student-athletes who compete for EWU every academic year have the resources they need to succeed both on and off the field.

Support the Stadium Renovation Fund

The donor-supported Stadium Renovation Fund is transforming EWU’s iconic football stadium into a modern venue that honors the legacy of Eastern football while serving as a hub for competitive track and field events.

Built in 1967, the stadium needs updates to seating, concessions, restrooms and other areas to provide a modern-day fan experience. EWU is relying on a combination of philanthropy and facility-generated revenues to complete the updates, and supporters have already pitched in more than $6 million to help.

With the red turf replaced several years ago, thanks to a generous gift from Jack Gillingham, and the renovation of the track surrounding the field recently completed, the complex is poised to drive regional competition by bringing top-notch events to Cheney. This includes the 2031 Big Sky Conference Track and Field Championships.

Plans are also in the works to host local, regional and state competitions for high schoolers – bringing prospective students to campus.

The Stadium Renovation Project benefits multiple sports while also honoring the legacy of Eagle football, which has won 10 Big Sky Conference championships and a national title.

Join us in supporting a project that ensures that generations of students, alumni and other fans can enjoy Eagle athletics into the future.
