While visiting Europe for a river cruise, Harry Kautzman ’91 took time out to admire 19th century sculptor Jef Lambeaux’s famed Brabo Fountain located in the central square of Antwerp.

During a weeklong family sojourn , Dan Obenchain ’79, ’82 and his wife, Maria, were treated to a stunning sunset on Playa Pochote, a tranquil Pacific Ocean beach locale in Puntarenas Province.

French Polynesia
Andrew Nye ’08 brought his adventurous spirit, and his Eastern magazine, to the island jewel of Bora Bora, one of French Polynesia’s most spectacular islands. “I’m beyond proud to represent Eastern Washington University around the world,” he told us.

After joining his fiancé on a recent business trip, Lance Obra ’80, struck a pose with José Antonio Abella’s whimsical, selfie-taking devil on Segovia’s Calle San Juan. Legend has it that the devil built the city’s massive Roman aqueduct in a single night.

On a sunny Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, Yome Hong ’00 displayed both Eagle and Seahawks pride just before the start of Super Bowl LX.

Tanzania
In February, Doug Kelley ’83 traveled to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, protected lands adjacent to the Serengeti National Park. The area is not only home to a spectacular array of wildlife, but also Olduvai Gorge, arguably the world’s most important paleoanthropological site.
