Artist Bio

Seth Collier: Specializing in digital visual art, Seth Collier’s work draws on experiences of Schizoaffective Disorder and religious delusion to approach artmaking as an extension of
the prophetic tradition: synthesizing historical cultural elements, through the lens of madness, to create visual metaphors that hold a mirror to society and examine psycho-
spiritual experience. Collier is a graduating BFA student at Eastern Washington University, earned his AFA
from Spokane Falls Community College, and was a 2021 scholarship winner from the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Artists. His work has been included in local shows like Terrain and Apostrophe, and is currently on view at MAD Co. Labs Studios.

Rain McCauley: Rain McCauley was born in 2000 in Eugene, Oregon, but was raised in the wheat country of Edwall, Washington. Rain will receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts from EWU in 2022. Her
artwork is primarily digital with an emphasis in 2D animation and illustration. She also utilizes her education in screenwriting to build on the chronicles of her works. Narratively driven, Rain’s work focuses on worldbuilding and tackling themes in relation to exploration — especially regarding the unknowns of the natural world. Currently, Rain is developing an expansive character-driven animation series, and later, plans to create an animation studio with her sister to create animated films for the countless stories musing Rain and her sister. She believes each story that comes to her is a living, breathing universe that needs an individual connection in order to thrive.

Sky McCauley: Sky McCauley is a freelance illustrator and concept artist from Spokane, Washington. In 2022, she will graduate from Eastern Washington University with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with minors in art history and screenwriting. Inspired at an early age by cartoons, storybook illustration, and animation, Sky creates in relation to storytelling, developing the backbones of immersive and often fantastical narratives through her art. She utilizes contrasting shapes, exaggerated proportions, and
bold silhouettes to give her designs a sense of energy and fun. Currently, she is working on an animated television series in collaboration with her sister and fellow artist, Rain McCauley.

Rachel Ross: Rachel Ross is a multidisciplinary artist who is exploring many different mediums but is currently working in printmaking which allows for her to showcase her varying skills, including drawing and painting. She developed an affinity towards drawing with charcoal during high school which evolved into her becoming a portrait artist. After pursuing different goals for over a decade, Rachel returned to school to follow her dreams of studying art. She received her Associate’s degree at Spokane Falls Community College,
where not only did she pursue art, but was also reunited with a childhood dream of getting involved with the local theatre community. She is currently finishing her Bachelor of Fine
Arts at Eastern Washington University where she is exploring feminist themes of body positivity as well as environmentalism.

Jackson Sloan: Jackson Sloan was raised in Spokane Valley, WA, and will complete his BFA at Eastern Washington University in 2022. Spending most of his early life focused on street art and
graffiti, Jack has developed a unique urban style that integrates urban aesthetics with architecture and modernism. His work engages with a variety of media including large-scale murals, sculpture, canvas painting, and ink drawing and is often commissioned for his graffiti. Jack currently resides in Cheney, WA.
