We’re sharing our story.

Eastern Washington University is entering a defining moment. Our bold evolution from a regional comprehensive university to The Region’s Polytechnic demands more than a new slogan. It calls for a movement.

You might have noticed our TV ad playing recently, but there’s a lot more happening!

This campaign is how we share that story. It’s how we show the region that EWU is where learning leads doing and where opportunity becomes impact.

What’s Happening

EWU is running an integrated, year-long campaign across streaming TV, digital audio, social media, search engines, and exterior environments. 

  • The Message: Hands-on learning leads to in-demand careers.
  • The Goal: Build awareness and pride in EWU’s transformation by highlighting affordability, access, and real-world outcomes while increasing traffic to the website and boosting engagement on our social channels.
  • The Audiences: Students, parents, employers, alumni, and the broader community.
  • Additional Creative that is in-market: “From Classes to Careers,” “From Hands-On to Hired,” “Where Learning Is Doing,” “Don’t Just Learn–DO!,” “Hands-On. Career-Ready,” and “The Region’s Polytechnic.”
  • Timeline: Fall 2025 through summer 2026.

Why it Matters

This isn’t just advertising. It’s momentum.

Every impression builds understanding that EWU powers the region’s workforce and opens doors for students from all backgrounds.

When people hear The Region’s Polytechnic, they should think opportunity, affordability, value, and impact.

  • Digital: Display, Search Engine Marketing.

  • Billboards & Digital out of Home: Across Spokane and key regional corridors.
  • Website: The campaign’s digital home base ewu.edu, where stories of hands-on learning, faculty expertise, and student impact come to life. From the Lookbook to academic pages, every part of our site is evolving to reflect EWU’s identity as The Region’s Polytechnic.
