Agenda and Overview
Check-in for the event will open at 8:45 a.m. in Showalter Hall. Students and guests will go to the first floor to pick up name-tags, swag and additional event details.
An optional campus tour will occur from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Tours will leave at 8:45, 9:00 and 9:15 a.m. Please arrive by 9:10 a.m. to join a tour!
This is the official event kick-off! Our Admissions team will welcome you to campus and make sure you have everything you’ll need to enjoy the day’s activities—including how to win a $1,000, $1,500 or $2,000 EWU scholarship!
Explore all the academic programs and student services EWU has to offer. Make plans to connect with faculty and students from any or all of the four colleges:
Join us for a campus rotation that includes lunch on us! You’ll have the chance to meet current students and faculty, plus “unlock the secrets” to financial aid budgeting. Fun fact: EWU has maintained the lowest tuition and fees in Washington since 2012! Our admissions staff will also be on hand to discuss your next steps and ensure you find your way to each session.
We’ll wrap up the day with a few presentations from Housing and Residential Life, and Financial Aid and Scholarships. We’ll also be giving away the $1,000, $1,500 and $2,000 admitted student scholarships in a random drawing. If you feel good about your experience and decide EWU is the right fit for you, staff will be available to help you go through your next steps.
After the closing session, students and guests are invited to participate in the housing tours to learn more about your living options at EWU. We’ll also have admission staff available for final questions. (Optional)
