Catalog Degree Report
Lists uses of the Catalog Degree component, then checks if the referenced catalog URLs correctly resolve. This helps us ensure program pages show the correct information from the catalog.

Component Report
Lists uses of each component, a.k.a. our custom implementation of Advanced Custom Fields’ Flexible Content feature. This helps us know where and how components are being used.

Content Search
Searches the HTML and text content of all pages. For example, it can be used to find URLs that reference specific images or PDFs. It enables searches that we can’t do with “site:www.ewu.edu” on Google, for example.

Gravity Forms Report
Lists all Gravity Forms, with details about entries, spam, retention, and notification recipients.

Icons
Lists the custom icons available in our EWU WordPress theme. These icons can be used manually, or with an icon drop-down on one of our components.

Menu Report
Lists all menus and where they are used.

Mirror Content Report
Lists all pages which are mirrored using our custom Mirror Component.

Popetech
pope.tech is a 3rd-party service which provides automated accessibility scanning.

Site Map (human readable)
Tree view of every page on the www.ewu.edu. There is also a machine-readable XML sitemap which is sometimes used by search engines.

Shortcode Report
Lists uses of shortcodes, including built-ins, those from plugins, and custom EWU shortcodes.

Top Results Report
Lists all Top Results and checks them for validity. These are used as “quick results” that appear as you type in our search bar, and at the top of the results page.

Web Crawler
A custom web crawler which:

  • Finds broken links – internal and/or external
  • Finds broken hash links (e.g. ewu.edu/somepage/#hashlink) which refer to a part of a page that doesn’t exist
  • Checks spelling with custom dictionaries
  • Scores reading level
  • Records redirects or errors
  • Takes a daily snapshot of ewu.edu and can compare snapshots
  • Can limit crawl scope to specific prefixes, suffixes, and domains
