Organized by Transportation Research Board - Transportation Needs of National Parks and Public Lands (ADA40)
This conference focuses on transportation needs in National Parks and other Federal Lands. It will highlight innovative approaches for improving access, internal mobility, and links to gateway communities. Examples include new and expanded transit services, bicycle and pedestrian paths, bike-share programs, parking management systems, and other approaches. It will bring together professionals from Federal Land Management agencies - National Park Service (NPS), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), U.S. Forest Service (FS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and the Department of Interior - and transportation and transit agencies at the national, state, regional, and local levels; universities; and consulting firms.
