Minor in Spanish

About

In the Spanish minor, you’ll develop your conversation, writing and comprehension skills. You’ll also choose from a variety of Spanish electives that cover topics such as culture and civilization, linguistics, literature, and more.

Some of the things you’ll learn about include:

  • Global and local themes depicted in authentic literature, film, art, podcasts and other cultural products
  • How to use Spanish in everyday situations and daily tasks
  • How to communicate better in Spanish

The Spanish minor pairs well with many of EWU’s majors and will prepare you for success in increasingly bilingual workplaces.
