Homecoming at Eastern Washington University is more than a celebration— it’s a powerful reminder of what it means to be Eagle4Life. It’s where past, present, and future Eagles come together to honor traditions, relive memories, and create new ones. From reconnecting with classmates to cheering on our students and engaging with the campus community, Homecoming reflects the pride, resilience, and spirit that define Eastern. It’s a time when the red truly runs deep—uniting generations through shared experiences and a lasting connection to the place we all call HOME.
****Due to the City of Cheney restrictions, we will not be permitted to hold a bonfire or fireworks display as part of this year’s celebration.

| Wednesday, Oct. 7 | 10:30 AM - 11 AM | Sustainability Swoop - Recycling Logo Competition Do you care about sustainability and Swoop? Join the Homecoming festivities and design your own EWU logo using repurposed and recycled materials found in your office, dorm, or recycle bins across campus! Bonus points if you visit the campus recycling center to source materials! Open to students and staff. May the best design win! Packet Pick up (includes instructions and frame) on Monday 11am-1pm at PUB Table 2A; Logo drop off Wednesday between 10:30 and 11; judging will take place between 11am-1pm. Your team of 5 people will compete in a double elimination tournament by pushing beds with wheels down the race track and back (located in downtown Cheney).
