About
Chad Pritchard has worked on as a professional environmental and geotechnical geologist, on the Spokane County Soil Survey, landslide mapping, as well as large scale groundwater and geologic mapping projects in the inland northwest. He tries to share geologic information with the community through presentations, co-author of “Washington Rocks!”, co-editor of floodexplorer.org (showcasing geology and history stories about the inland NW), and a number of research papers on regional geology. Pritchard is also developing the EWU Unmanned Aerial Systems Drone Program that will offer a drone-certificate beginning fall quarter 2020. He is always interested in bring community projects into the classroom and helping students work on meaningful research across disciplines.
