Professor Durfee is a retired Command Pilot from the Washington Air National Guard and former Airline Transport Pilot. He has a Professional Engineers license in Mechanical Engineering from the Commonwealth of Virginia. He earned his PhD studying turbulent flow through forests. He teaches primarily Fluid Mechanics and Engineering Graphics courses.
