International Affairs

About

The Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs can be challenging, stimulating and practical. With that in mind, the International Affairs Program at EWU offers a bachelor’s degree aimed at providing a comprehensive understanding of the complexities defining today’s global challenges, opportunities, and crises. With a broad curriculum and flexible design, the program allows our students to simultaneously develop their intellectual capacity for envisioning a better world while advancing their career goals. Housed in the Political Science Department, the program offers a cutting-edge curriculum with a strong emphasis on three concentrations: Global Security Processes, Global Economic Processes, and Global Public Policies. These concentrations provide an exciting and challenging mix of theoretical and practical experiences that help train our students to develop their analytical, writing, communication, and research skills necessary for a wide range of roles in almost every sector of the employment market. As the most affordable International Affairs Program in the Pacific Northwest, the EWU International Affairs Program has a successful record of preparing its graduates for a career in public services, research institutes, international organizations, law offices, government agencies, NGOs, communication, policy development circles, political institutes, and academia (among others). For more information, please contact the director of the program.
