This year’s Get Lit! Festival is April 22-28 at venues in downtown Spokane, Cheney and Coeur d’Alene. The full schedule of more than 40 events and panel discussions, along with a roster of some 50 festival authors, is available on www.getlitfestival.org. Most events are free; tickets to headlining events are available here (TicketsWest).

Authors highlighting this premier literary festival include Roxane Gay, Kaveh Akbar, Tommy Orange, Leni Zumas, Jess Walter and Sharma Shields for a week of free and low-cost readings, panel discussions, craft classes and more.
Please note that the April 22 “Four Seasons” dinner event is cancelled. Please join us instead for a free happy hour event at The Wandering Table. Dishes and drinks inspired by the poetry of Keetje Kuipers, Laura Read, Claudia Castro Luna, and Dujie Tahat will be available for purchase. Visual art inspired by the poetry will be on display, courtesy of Spokane Arts and their SATURATE program, and we will still have musical guests as well!

The happy hour is free, and dishes/drinks and festival merch will be available for purchase.
