We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our small town dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and treating periodontal disease in the Silver Valley! This practice is located in Kellogg, Idaho and it is preferable if you live/move to the area, but you can also commute from the Coeur d’Lane area. If you commute, you will be given a travel/gas stipend to compensate you for the trouble of commuting. Hourly rate is $55-$68 depending on experience and skill level.
This is a new practice that has the latest technology to make your job as enjoyable and stress free as it can be. This is not a corporate dental office that is purely focused on production. Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and preventive care procedures for patients.
Help diagnose and treat periodontal disease with scaling and root planing as well as regular perio maintenance
Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist the dentist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Ensure a clean and sterile environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.

Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
