Master’s degree in Dental Hygiene, Public Health or Higher Education from a regionally accredited college or university AND a Dental Hygienist with current license to practice in Washington State.
OR a dentist who is a graduate of a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
Three (3) years of clinical practice as a dental hygienist or working with a dental hygienist (Dentist).
Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent teaching experience at a community college or university.
Two (2) years of professional supervisory experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically experience creating and editing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Adobe PDF experience required. Previous success in learning new computer software programs/platforms required.
Demonstrated attention to detail required, as well as previous experience maintaining accurate records, managing multiple tasks, and planning and organizing work to meet changing priorities and deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Perform basic gross motor movements to participate in activities with students and occasionally demonstrate procedures in a clinical setting.
Maintain sufficient visual acuity to observe students and faculty performing dental practices.
Engage in frequent oral, written, and auditory communication to support instruction, program operations, and faculty collaboration.
Perform repetitive hand and wrist motions as needed for administrative tasks or clinical demonstrations.
Manage physical demands, including prolonged periods of sitting or standing and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
