About

In our graduate counseling specialization program, students secure placement in local and regional organizations for their clinical experience.  Our experiences take place in a Practicum course, followed by a four-quarter internship sequence.

Placements are secured by the student with assistance from the internship coordinator, who works with agencies and practices to identify potential placement opportunities. The coordinator works with students to introduce and finalize their placements.  Our internship coordinator must approve all sites before students can interview.

Our internship coordinator is Dr. Camille Frank.

Clinical Mental Health Counseling

The clinical mental health counseling program partners with a variety of organizations and agencies serving people of all ages and populations.

Information for Site Supervisors

Thank you for your interest in providing an internship at your site and/or serving as an individual supervisor to an intern. We hope it will be a mutually beneficial experience for both your site and the student. Please contact the Internship Coordinator at any time if you have questions or need assistance.

In order to serve as a site supervisor, you’ll need to:

  1. Complete the site/individual supervisor training by reviewing the Site Supervisor Training Slides (PDF)
  2. Complete and submit the training verification form
  3. Download and review the manual that fits your setting for continued guidance.

  4. Accept the registration invitation from Experiential Learning Cloud if not registered already.
  5. Provide the Internship Coordinator with your resume and copy of your license.
