Minor in Industrial/Organizational Psychology

In the Industrial/Organizational Psychology minor, you’ll learn how to construct, use and understand psychological tests. You’ll also gain an understanding of psychological principles in the workplace. In addition, you will choose from electives that cover topics such as human resource management, organization theory, human behavior, social psychology and more.

This minor pairs well with many of the business majors and can be a valuable asset no matter your career plan.

Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology Minor

Industrial/Organizational Psychology is an advancing area in psychology and offers a great opportunity for collaboration with other majors (e.g., Business).

Requires PSYC 314 and PSYC 461 plus 10 credits of coursework from the list.  No more than 5 credits can be transferred toward the minor and no more than 5 credits can be duplicated with a major in the School of Psychology.
