Get the most out of your time at Eastern Washington University by joining fellow students who like math. Math clubs and organizations at EWU host a variety of activities and events throughout the school year. It’s a great way to meet fellow students and really get the most out of your education by applying your learning to activities outside of the classroom!
The Math Education Club (MEC) is an organization for anyone who is majoring in Math Education, Mathematics, inquiring a Math Major, in the Education program, involved with STEM, or just loves math. MEC provides a place for students to hang out, make friends, seek peer support on math-related homework, and provides opportunities to attend STEM-related activities.
The EWU SIAM Student Chapter was established in September 2021 and falls under the auspices of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) and the Department of Mathematics at Eastern Washington University. We are a group of students interested in applied math and we organize different events (research talks, networking, social gatherings etc.) for undergrad and graduate students. All EWU students are eligible to join.
