Minor in Mathematics/Secondary

About

Prepare to teach mathematics at the secondary level while building on your primary field of study. Completing this minor, along with EWU’s Secondary Education requirements and a major field of study, satisfies Washington State requirements for a secondary mathematics teaching endorsement (grades 5–12).

This minor can also be completed as an add-on secondary mathematics endorsement. Completing MATH 208 or MATH 141 fulfills EWU’s Mathematical Reasoning competency requirement.

All certification candidates must pass the NES subject matter test to qualify for endorsement.
