Dental Hygiene
Information Sessions

About the Information Sessions

Attendance at one information session is required to be considered for admission to the Dental Hygiene program. You do not need to attend more than one session. Your attendance is valid for two consecutive admission cycles.

Before You Register

  • Registration is limited to 40 people per session.
  • Sessions with fewer than 10 registered attendees may be canceled.
  • Once all sessions are full, additional dates will not be offered until summer 2027 for the fall 2028 admission cycle.

Parents and high school students exploring a career in dental hygiene are also welcome to attend for academic planning purposes.

What to Expect

The session will cover:

  • Admission requirements
  • Essential functions of a dental hygienist
  • Bloodborne pathogen information
  • Questions and answers

The in-person session will also include a tour of the dental hygiene facilities.

Location and Access Information

Registered attendees will receive an email 24 hours before the session with final details. The email will include the location for the in-person session or the Zoom link for an online session.

Zoom links will be provided in early September 2026 once these meetings are open for registration.
