Room Change Request

Room change requests are now open! We process requests as soon as we can and based on availability for the request. After you have requested a room change, our staff will be reaching out to you via email or phone to get more info or to offer a room change. Please make sure to respond to communication and/or follow the instructions we have provided for your room change.

  • Room change requests are processed on a first come, first served basis. While we do our best to accommodate as many requests as possible, we may not be able to accommodate your request right away. In order to expedite the process, frequently check your EWU email as that is where all communication will be sent. As a part of this process, you will be required to speak with your residential life coordinator. If you have questions at any point you may contact the Housing Office at housing@ewu.edu or 509.359.2451.
  • Please be as descriptive as possible about why you would like a room change. Include any details that may be impacting your health, well being, or ability to be a successful student. Our staff will work with you to resolve your issue and it is helpful to have as much information as possible prior to your conversation.
  • Preferences

    Indicate your preferences for hall, room type, and roommate below. Please note that not all options may be available at the time you submit this and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
  • If you are hoping to live with a certain person please include their full name here, otherwise leave this blank
  • By submitting this request, you acknowledge that you must follow all the instructions provided in any follow-up emails or you are subject to the $100 failure to move/unauthorized move charge.
