Eastern's Dental Hygiene Program is the only entry-level bachelor of science degree program in the state of Washington. Less than 15 percent of the dental hygiene programs in the United States offer this degree.
For hygienists who choose to enter private dental practice, a bachelor's degree offers a broader educational base and a more secure foundation for everyday interaction with the public.
