Minor in Aquatics Management

About

In the Aquatics Management Minor, you’ll learn about water safety and receive training as a lifeguard. You’ll also study aquatic facility management and get hands-on experience in a practicum course. Choose from a wide variety of electives that cover topics such as scuba diving, swimming, aqua aerobics, river rafting, and whitewater kayaking.

Our courses use nationally-recognized certification programs. You’ll be trained in each area and be prepared for employment. Our alumni go on to work in fitness clubs, educational institutions, YMCA, YWCA, rehabilitation centers, community centers, and parks and recreation departments.
