Commencement

The College of Health Sciences and Public Health has programs on semester- and quarter-based schedules. As a result, there are two different graduations. Be sure to note the correct graduation ceremony for your program. For more information, please see the official commencement page.

May Ceremony

Commencement for semester-based programs will be held on Friday, May 5th.

Graduates from programs on the semester schedule include:

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s in Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s in Dental Hygiene
  • Bachelor’s in Health Science
  • Master’s in Occupational Therapy
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy

June Ceremony

On Saturday, June 17, 2022, Eastern Washington University will celebrate the graduating class of 2023 at our annual all-campus commencement ceremonies.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, you may participate in either the May or June ceremony (or both!).

No, you may only participate in the June ceremony.

To participate in the Commencement ceremony, you are expected to be dressed in appropriate graduation regalia.

Graduation attire is available for purchase from the Eagle Store beginning at the end of February until early June. Join the Eagle Store at their Grad Fair kick-off events. Grad Fair is an opportunity to order your cap and gown and purchase other graduation-related items.  There are usually fun contests, chances to win prizes and special discounts.
