Eastern Washington University awards over $2.8 million in scholarships to nearly 1,500 students each school year. There are scholarships based on major, hometown, community service and more!

Dean’s Leadership Endowed Scholarship

The Dean’s Leadership Endowed Scholarship is administered subject to the stipulations listed below:

  • The successful recipient will be able to demonstrate academic achievement, academic or community leadership, personal integrity, as well as community service
  • Eligible students must have a declared major in one of the disciplines offered by the School of Business and have completed at least 120 credit hours including 30 credits in their declared major by the end of spring quarter 2023. If you have questions about these requirements, please see your advisor.
  • The recipient must be a student in good standing at Eastern Washington University maintaining a minimum 3.0 (B) grade point average (GPA), attend EWU full time during the academic year 2022-2023, and not been found responsible in an academic integrity violation.
  • The School of Business will award one or more $3,500 scholarship(s) for undergraduate tuition. Recipient must attend EWU full time for academic year 2023-2024.
  • The successful recipient will be selected following the review of the one-page essay describing your history of academic achievement, academic or community leadership, and community service. Recipient(s) of the scholarship will be eligible for mentorship from a member of the College’s Advisory Board. The recipient(s) will be encouraged to attend College Advisory Board meetings.

Requirements & Guidelines

  • Student must be a transfer student from Spokane Falls Community College or Spokane Community College

Requirements & Guidelines

  • Student must be a CIS or MISC major
  • Student must have junior or senior standing
  • Student should demonstrate exemplary academic achievement, innovation, community service, leadership, and project management experience

Requirements & Guidelines:

  • Student must be majoring in professional accounting, decision science, or management information systems
  • Student must have junior, senior, or graduate level standing
  • Student must demonstrate academic excellence.

Requirements & Guidelines:

  • Student must demonstrate high academic achievement
  • Student must have completed or is enrolled in a Junior Achievement high School classroom program
  • Student must exemplify achievement, leadership, college, and career potential

Requirements & Guidelines:

  • Student must be in a business-related major
  • Student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Student must demonstrate financial need

  • Student must be in a business-related major

    • accounting, business education, economics, finance, general management, marketing, or management information systems
  • Preference given to student who is a veteran of U.S. Military service

  • Student must be a graduate of a high school in the Tri-Cities area, with preference given to a student from a high school within Kennewick, Richland, or Pasco, Washington
  • Student must demonstrate participation in extra-curricular activities such as athletics, school-sponsored clubs and organizations, and/or community service/volunteerism.

  • Preference given to students with a declared major in finance, management, or economics

Requirements & Guidelines:

  • Student must be a full-time student and single parent in good academic standing
  • Preference given to students with a declared major in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or Accounting.

There are many scholarships available to students who are enrolled in the business program. Applications for 2023-2024 academic year will open November 1st, 2022.  To apply for these scholarships, submit the General Scholarship Application by Feb. 1, 2023.
