Global Experiential Learning

As part of our efforts to contribute toward understanding and valuing diversity, we have developed a Global Experiential Learning program, which is open to all students at EWU. This initiative will provide opportunities for our faculty and students to travel internationally under, and learn about leadership, business, and culture in countries beyond their national border.

Summer Technology Commercialization Academy

This eight-week academy provides students with real-work experiences in finding useful applications for patented technologies. Students experience first-hand the process of taking an idea from innovation to full commercialization plan.

Global Collaboration Programs

We have established a 1+2+1 dual degree in Human Resource Management with Harbin University in China. Another 1+2+1 program is being developed now in Finance with Nanjing Technical University in China.

Entrepreneurship is designed for students with career goals that involve starting new businesses, working in a startup or early growth environments, or for those interested in working in small or family businesses.

Every year Eastern Washington University and the School of Business award scholarships to assist students with their college expenses. These annual scholarships make it possible for many students to achieve their academic goals.

Institute for Public Policy & Economic Analysis

The EWU Institute for Public Policy & Economic Analysis (IPPEA) was created in 2002 to provide data and analysis about a variety of factors in the region that will be useful for businesses, communities and others as they plan for the future. The Institute is located at the EWU Spokane campus.
