Eastern Reading Council

“Promoting Literacy by Putting Books in the Hands of Children.”

The Eastern Reading Council is open to all students, faculty and alumni who love to read and are passionate about promoting literacy. Group events take place quarterly including volunteer reading at local elementary schools and hosting a Scholastic Book Fair. Meetings are held monthly. This Council is affiliated with WaSLA (Washington State Literacy Association) and ILA (International Literacy Association).
