- Numerous public concerts, recitals, and workshops are presented throughout the school year by faculty, students, and guests of the Department of Music.
Our goal is to provide students with musical instruction and experience of the highest possible quality. Our belief is that the study of music significantly enables students to become informed, responsible and appreciative members of a democratic society-which is a professed goal of Eastern. We recognize differing needs of those for whom music is to become a profession and those for whom it will be an avocation or a listener's art.
